I was searching for a picture of a wave to send to someone I love and found this. Maybe God was showing me how much he loves me too - no matter what.

Thank you

You just summed it up. First we are to love the Lord with all our hearts and souls and minds, then we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. I would not like it if others knew my sins and did not treat me as one loved by our God, but instead "discussed" my problem with indifference. I am so glad our Lord treats us so much better than we can treat one another.

But think of where we’d be if God had decided to just sit around and discuss theology instead of doing something about our sin.

Ouch. Thank you Lord for your GRACE!!!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Hallie... I have been doing some other reading on is as well and found this:

There is an old saying "Follow the money". Wanna see who benefits from hysteria over inflated claims of the dangers of HPV infection? Follow the money. Gardasil is adminstered via THREE SHOTS.

How much does it cost? From http://uuhsc.utah.edu/pharmacy/bulletins/gardasil.html
it has a chart that says the AWP (average wholesale price) per series is $450.00.

What a CON!

I have the same sentiments. I went to visit an new gynocologist after moving to new city and one of the things she asked me about was getting the vaccine. (This was after telling her that neither I nor my husband were sexually active before we got married.) She said I should consider the fact that I may not be with my husband forever either due to divorce or death (yes she said that) and in case I got married to someone who had HPV after all of that, I needed the vaccine. I don't like something being pushed on me or other young girls for many of the reasons you mentioned.

Another comment from my bunch. ;) Heather

"My friend at the CDC exposed me to this a while back. It's so sad that companies will target our fears just to make money.
But what they don't realize is that Grassroots efforts really work. thanks heather for putting it out there - Meredith"

I know you've heard "Life is journey, not a destination." While you feel like you're "waiting"; you must live your life! Today is ALL we have; not the promise that something we want is going to happen tommorrow. While we strive for what we want for tommorrow, we must also live like there will be no tommorrow. Don't be so wrapped up in what you want that you forget to appreciate what you have today. As we prepare to sell our house because of health issues and the burden of so much work around here, it's hard to remember that. It's been hard not to "wait" for tommorrow ( a sold house) to come. I have neglected to appreciate the beauty of where we live, thereby sacrificing the peace that comes with that appreciation of what I have today. Not noticing the sky, the birds, the land, being burdened with the work and maintanence of this place has robbed me of my peace. While I am preparing for the house to sell, as well as wondering where to go next, I notice the crane that flies across my yard every morning at a specific time, knowing God brought him there just for me to enjoy. I am noticing how beautiful the view is from my patio, I am listening to the cows and the many kinds of birds. Thank you, God, for everything I have today, everything I am today! I look forward to tommorrow with joy and anticipation, but not with the worry or anxiety of waiting.
